We are a small husband-and-wife company, based in Hong Kong. We used to work nine-to-five, however, we were depressed and felt stuck for living a repetitive and boring everyday life. We asked ourselves: what are our purposes and what do we want to do? After numerous sleepless nights and struggles, we had a very simple answer: we want a simple happy life.
We decided to make a change by starting a brand that promotes happiness. The first thing we did is to scale down our expenses to prepare for the entrepreneurial journey. In the process, we have found out that we actually don’t need that much stuff in our life, less is more, simplicity is the source of happiness.
Zen (禪) and Chadō (茶道) which is a process of achieving inner peace, clarity and self-discovery. We value the spirit and name our brand as HAPPi Studio. The word “HAPPi” ハッピー means happiness in Japanese, we hope to bring joy and happiness to our customers.
Our approach is very simple, instead of inventing products, we discover demands. We focus on searching our customer needs and adding values to everyday products, with the mission of balancing functionality and aesthetics.
